No need to watch this...

...considering it's censored but apparently she says if Mothers ruled the world there would be no goddamn war. Can you imagine the world being ruled by a bunch of mama bears? We'd all be dead by now.

I watched about 10 minutes of the Emmy's the other night, how ironic that this was the last two minutes of my viewing experience.

Not only was her point about mothers ridiculous, but her "passionate" and seemingly "impromptu" speech lost it's luster as soon as she forgot the script.

Last I checked, taking the lord's name in vain (on national television no less) didn't make the list of desirable motherly traits.

...mama bears might actually do a good job, it's the cackling mother hens and black widows that I'm worried about.

If she had stopped when she stopped, it would have been succinct, heart-felt, and maybe timeless. But I've always cringed at shrill.

Politics aside you are probably right Dert.

Ya know boys..I must say that I agree with all of your comments. I didn't get the prevledge of watching this wonderful unsensored disaster. I, along with other "wonderful mothers of the world", was at an accountabiltiy group which tries hard to prevent this type of stupid behavior in ourselves. I wish "Hollywood moms" would stop using these events to impose their opinions on the world.

By the way...I love checking your blog every now and then, but Sarge said that I am not suppose to use my real name, sorry!!!

Hey! I think it's privilege not prevledge.

What's an accountability group?
Sounds like fun.

Accountability group?

I'm picturing some kind of direct confrontation group: yes you said that, yes you drank that, yes your friends secretly think you're a bombastic, ass-wipe blowhard...

Ummm, didn't mean any of you specific "you"s, just you generally (proabably me).

Good recovery Dert. Otherwise, I was just about to have to defend my woman.
