Drumming As Revelation
Who knows how or why these things occur when they do, but it just struck me that the Muppets drummer Animal was most likely based on the incredible Who drummer, Keith Moon. I've watched the Muppet Show since I was a boy and have listened to The Who for the past 20 years, but I didn't put it together until now. They even look alike, especially in the eyebrows. Wow!

I'd never given it much thought, but it looks like you're right. After seeing this I went to wikipedia and did a little digging. They say the same thing
Now I'm compelled to compare famous rock drummers to famous
p(m)uppet drummers to see if I'm missing anyone else, e.g. John Bonham=Oscar the Grouch?
Hey Ray I tried to flip a couple of those pictures but for some reason it wouldn't go through. I'll keep trying.
