With all the political talk lately, I thought it fitting to reflect on some quotes from a true great.

• My philosophy of life is that if we make up our mind what we are going to make of our lives, then work hard toward that goal, we never lose - somehow we win out.


• Welfare's purpose should be to eliminate, as far as possible, the need for its own existence.
