I am now back in KC after spending 6 days in DC. If you ever get the opportunity to experience the cherry blossom festival, I highly recommend it.

I've been in D.C. when the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom. It is a site to behold. Do I remember this correctly? Weren't they a gift from Japan?

They were a gift from Japan, long before WWII. This picture was taken by Katie on her new Sony CyberShot camera.
