Theres been a lot of speculation lately about whether Jeong's was even open. I think this picture says it all. Maybe we can get them to change the name to Jeong's Canteen!
Great recon! Jeong's is officially on the Meerschaum tour route. Sil - I think we may have a project for your newfound t-shirt making skills. I'm picturing a Meerschaum Canteen logo on the front, with a listing of seedy/historic Raytown area establishments on the back. We may even be able to get the tour stops to pay for their advertisements. Wait...I hear the Raytown Chamber of Commerce members knocking on our door now!
When is the next outing? Ursus and me are the only team members who went to Bamboo Hut awhile back and it was delish. We should get some dialog going and make a list of spots we need to hit. We can always edit the list so I'll try to get a post on soon about getting the list started. Maybe something in photoshop like an Uncle Sam recruiting type of poster, "I Want You".
I ate there too last Friday after work. In fact, I've eaten there three times in the past two weeks! It's the only place to go in Raytown besides Popeye's. When's Sil going to get his photoshop advert on here for the next Canteen sitdown?

Ditto all that! After going by Jeong's on two occasions and seeing the curtains pulled I began to wonder whether they were still operational.

great idea Sil, get on it pronto.
I ate here for lunch this past Friday. Crab Ragoon was just as I remebered it.
