So didja hear, there was this "performance artist" (why can't I write that w/o quotes?) this year at Flat Rock who burned down the Burning Man before time? Got some press, don't know how reviled he was on site, though of course the man-to-be-burned was sworn to be rebuilt in time for the "real" burn...

The guy that did the premature burning got arrested and went to jail. I guess even at Burning Man spontaneity has its limits.
