Jeong's Canton Chinese
The General had suggested an evening of R & R for the Canteen soldiers at one of the local mess halls that we may have possibly overlooked as young privates. Jerry's, Neptune's Galley, The Bamboo Hut, and V's were a few of the establishments mentioned as possible candidates.
Any interest from the rest of the troops?

Absolutely! We could do some recon once a month and we'll have some "Lessons Learned" material for interested parties...interested in Raytown.
Hopefully, in Raytown, we'll be able to find some place amenable to cigar smoking. I picture something in the back corner complete with sansabelt pants and tinted glasses.
Overlooked? Shii' Except for Neptunes I frequented these all as a younger Silvio with my parents and there "friends". That is if we weren't hittin' Pappis Pizza or Funhouse after a sporting event or team party.
If we do this we definantly have to have our backs to the wall with the bathroom clearly in view just so noone gets any ideas. Sun changing tint on our specticles is optional.
Yes, Silvio, we actually did discuss how these were old stompin' grounds for the Dante clan...just overlooked by the rest of us who spent more time at places such as Old Country Buffett and Brown's Chicken. The General probably even had a few Wednesday nights at the FBC mess hall - there's nothing like cafeteria spaghetti prepared Baptist style!
mmmmmm...Pappi's.
Count me in. I have been craving some nacho cheese covered tater tots from Jim G's.
Jim G's...I ate there just a few weeks ago! Nothing had changed - it was perfection.
Jim G's Cheese balls are the best. You can't beat them. Let me know if something is in the works.
We could make a night of it on the sonic patio with Bruce Marston. I think Ish is back working there after his 10 year stretch in county. If it is like old times I hear not to eat the chili. I'll put a call in to Chris Pound or Scallorn maybe they could set us a bag of tots out back. I think Matt still has a key.
